Creating a profile and posting a project are free. The launch transaction model waives Dronehire’s platform commission. Payment processing, taxes and currency conversion costs will be disclosed before checkout becomes available.

Future commission
The planned standard commission is 10% of the agreed project service price, deducted from the pilot’s payout. Any introduction of this fee will be disclosed and accepted for new bookings. Existing accepted bookings will keep their agreed fee.
The planned booking workflow
Agree the scope, dates, deliverables, price, currency and cancellation terms.
The client first selects a pilot and confirms the final scope and quote, then pays the agreed project price in advance through Stripe. Posting a project does not require payment.
The pilot completes the work and submits the agreed deliverables.
The client reviews delivery and can approve, request changes or raise a dispute.
Payout becomes eligible after approval, with no unresolved dispute and the provider’s requirements satisfied.
Submitting work alone will not trigger a payout. The review deadline, cancellation policy, provider coverage and payment protection terms will be finalized before paid bookings open.
